2014 SENIORS!  Stop by the Main Office and pick up an Off-Campus lunch card for next school year.  These cards must be signed, and turned into the office, by your parent!  All cards signed and returned to the main office before
June 13 will be eligible for off-campus lunch as soon as it begins next school year.  Cards received after that date could have delayed privileges until approved.
 
Clubs:
AP US History students for 2013-2014 please meet in the Little Theater on Tuesday May 21st for a brief time to pick up summer reading materials and receive some information about AP. Alternate time 7:20 Wednesday May 22nd in Room 313. If you have questions, see Ms Arndt Helgesen in room 313.
Anyone who would like a souvenir ticket from Prom 2013,
may pick one up from Ms. Arndt-Helgesen in room 313.
 
All Students taking European History next school year – please pick up your summer assignment in Room 321!

HONORS, ADVANCED PLACEMENT AND INTERNATIONAL BACCALAUREATE STUDENTS
 
 

Please read this important information concerning your summer reading assignments in preparation for the 2013-2014 academic year!

 

All students enrolled in any honors, Advanced Placement, or International Baccalaureate course for the 2013-2014 academic year are required to read at least one book and complete annotations in it over the summer. To find out what the assignments are for your particular course, visit the teacher website(s) listed below, after May 10:

2013-2014 Bus Contract Information
 
 

The 2013-2014 bus contracts are now available by going to the district website:   http://purchasingservices.smsd.org/Pages/Transportation.aspx

 
First Student will begin accepting payments for the 2013-2014 school year on May 6, 2013.  First Student may be reached at 913-432-1900.
 
Bus Parent Pay Rider Program
Parents of students who live less than 2.5 miles from the school in their attendance area may contract for bus service directly with First Student under certain conditions. The information below is provided to help parents determine if they might be interested in the Bus Pay Rider program.
 
2013-2014 Fees:
Option 1:  Kindergarten – One way  --  $106 per student, per semester or $212 per year
 
Option 2 – K-12 – Two Way  --  $149 per student, per semester or$298 per year
           1st Sem payment due by 8/5/13
           Contracts received after this date may be subject to processing delays
           2nd Sem payment due by 1/3/14
 
Early Pay Discount – K-12 – Two Way  --  $127 per student, per semester or $254 per year.  Payment MUST BE received or postmarked by 7/1/13
                                                               
Terms and Conditions
*Kindergarten mid-day transportation is available only at schools with 20 or more contracted bus riders.
**Bus service for grades one through 12 is available at schools where 40 or more students are contracted to ride the bus or where pay ridership has been mandated.
